Homework

Ah, the typical Irish builder - stonewashed denims hitched at halfmast, breakfast roll carried nonchalantly under the oxter, five o’clock shadow flecked with white matt emulsion, lumberjack shirt carrying three kilos worth of household debris – not exactly Brad Pitt.

But with a construction boom in full swing, good builders are hard to find and beggars can’t be choosers.
Now thanks to one website you can search for tradesmen in your area who are rated according to timekeeping, friendliness, work quality, value for money etc. or give your own builder ratings. If you’d had your walls plastered at a 30 degree angle or your bathroom grouted with chewing gum don’t get mad, get even and tell the world about your bad experience. Or, if you’re researching renovations it’s a great place to start your home work.
