There is no doubt Christmas is a global phenomenom but some nationalities choose to celebrate it rather differently.

One website has compiled the ultimate guide to Christmas around the world. Apparently, if you were in Norway for Christmas Eve you’d tucking into a nutritious, delicious feed of plain porridge and boiled cod.

The Catalonian version of the traditional Yuletide log discharges presents when you hit it with a stick

In Italy presents are delivered by an old witch on a broomstick

But when it comes to bizarre festivities, the Estonians take the Christmas biscuit. Tthe start of their festivities is marked by a get together…..in the communal sauna. I suppose it’s their own individual way of letting it all hang out…
