Tinpot – Now There’s An App For That

After some heavy brainstorming and a sideways trek up an imossibly steep technical learning curve, we're chuffed to announce that the new Tinpot Productions Iphone app is now available for download here.

Iphone app !!!!!!!!!!! Iphone App !!!!!!!!!! you might say repeatedly your tone demanding multiple exclamation marks.  I thought you guys did sound production, not digital fiddlies.

Well, that's true and yes we do. We are at heart an audio production company, but we also understand the importance of keeping abreast of new technologies which are changing the way the media world works.  This app enables our clients, producers, peers, colleagues, friends and stalkers to keep all the latest Tinpot bumpf close to their heart and even closer to their hand – 24 and 7.

We think it's a small nod to the future and to the fact that audio is increasingly being delivered on and to multiple platforms.  By the way, the only code we know is that Da Vinci one and we would not get within an asses roar of being web developers so if you are a digital expert, then start by lowering your expectations. We have bigger plans to grow our baby beta app later in the year so keep your peepers on this space.  In the meantime, download enjoy and send us any feedbacks – all of which are welcome.

Mulled Wine and Mince Pies

Fancy some Mulled Wine and Mince Pies ?

It’s a rhetorical question. Of course you do. And we’ve got some.

To celebrate our first(ish) anniversary in our spanking new studio and to raise some funds for a deserving charity, we’re holding a pre Christmas event on Thursday December 8th. We’ll have Dublin’s bestest baked mince pies, wine that’s been mulled to within an inch of it’s life and choral accompaniment from The Tinpot Temporary Carol Singers* – performing in crystal clear stereo sound live from our studio booth.

Pop in anytime from 5 pm and please RSVP to Danny - just so we can reserve your mince pie..

In The Booth: Olivia O’Leary

Voicing narration for a Radio 4 documentary produced by Just Radio, Olivia O’Leary was ever the professional.  Scarcely a single fluff in 60 minutes recording.  We wish they were all like that….
